CALL FOR PAPERS – Parewa Saraq: Journal of Islamic Law and Fatwa Review (November 2026 Issue)

Parewa Saraq: Journal of Islamic Law and Fatwa Review invites scholars and researchers to submit original and unpublished manuscripts for its November 2026 issue with the theme “Fatwa Review.” This issue aims to explore the study and critical evaluation of fatwas in contemporary contexts, including their methodology, authority, and relevance in modern Muslim societies. Contributions may address topics such as fatwa critique (naqd al-fatwa), comparative fatwa studies across madhhabs, institutional fatwas, digital fatwa platforms, and socio-political dimensions of fatwa. Manuscripts must be written in English, with a length of 5,000–8,000 words, and will undergo a peer-review process. The submission deadline is September 30, 2026, and all papers must be submitted through the OJS system at: https://ejournal.sulselmui.com/index.php/PS.
